A TV star has been left 'heartbroken' as an iconic car was stolen from a hotel car park.
Wheeler Dealers presenter Mike Brewer has revealed a 'special car' was nicked while filming the show.
The beloved motoring show airs on the Discovery Channel and sees vintage vehicles restored to their former glory and sold in the hope of making a tidy profit.
But in a desperate appeal to the public for their help in tracing the car, Mike, 58, and his co-host Marc Priestley, 46, took to social media.
Both presenters revealed a classic 1979 Mk 1 Ford Fiesta 1300S went missing from the car park of the hotel they're staying at in Knottingley Road, Pontefract.
In a video posted to Twitter, Mike explained: "We were hoping to celebrate two milestones in fact on this episode of Wheeler Dealers.

"One being that we've now came up to our 20th year of Wheeler Dealers and we are so excited to be celebrating 20 years we thought we'd do a special build of a very special car."
A police officer could be seen in the background of the clip as the force attended the scene.
Marc added that the team also embarked on the build as Ford are set to discontinue their Fiesta model cars.
He told fans: "Many of you will know that, they are ending it next year and it's a crying shame, it's such an iconic car so we thought we would build a very special version of that car."

Before the car was nicked, Mike said buyers had already submitted bids to snap it up.
He urged fans to share images of the car and hoped the classical car community can "come together" and find the stolen Ford.
Fans of the show flooded Mike's replies with supportive messages for both car experts.
One said: "I’m so sorry to hear this, Mike & Elvis! I hope it’s found and returned in one piece!"
A second wrote: "So sorry to hear. I really hope you get it back."
"That's really sad, I desperately hope it's found quickly, I've shared," said a third fan.
While a fourth commented: "I cannot believe it, on your biggest Wheeler Dealers day as well. What a coincidence."
