A MUM has been left stunned after figuring out the reason all of the bears' porridge was different temperatures in the famous Goldilocks tale.
Gemma Alster, from the UK, shared her revelation on TikTok and other mums couldn't believe they hadn't thought of it sooner.
In the short clip posted to her account @gemmaalster, she said: "When you suddenly understand why Daddy's porridge was hot, mummy's was cold and baby's was just right."
Gemma had the revelation while washing up the dishes and penned: "It all makes so much sense now."
In the tale, Goldilocks breaks into the bears' house and makes herself at home, trying the porridge and their beds.
As she tries them she claims Daddy Bear's porridge is too hot, Mummy Bear's is too cold and the baby's is just right.

But mums have come up with a theory as to why that is.
Some claim that the reason the porridges are all different temperatures is that the dad is served his bowl straight away, and the mum then feeds the baby, leaving hers to get cold.
The video has since gone viral with over 110k views and over 7,900 likes.
