Who is Noreen Maltby?
Noreen Maltby is one of the orignal Benidorm cast members.
She first arrived on the series in the pilot episode which aired in 2007.
For the first three series she holidayed at the Solana with her adult son Geoff, played by Johnny Vegas who told people she was his PA.
More recently she has appeared on the show with her alcoholic daughter Pauline who ensures there's never a dull moment.
What storylines has Noreen Maltby had in Benidorm?
In series one, Noreen was convinced that her son Geoff was gay so organised a hilarious YMCA dance performance to show her support.
In series four she falls out with daughter Pauline over her drinking problem.
When she gets trapped in a lift with Geoff in series seven she untactfully reveals that he's adopted.
In the current series Noreen is on holiday with her daughter Pauline who's sober and pursuing a career as a writer.
Viewers can also expect to meet Noreen's twin sister Doreen (also played by Elsie Kelly) and her recognisable boyfriend.

Elsie Kelly, 81, is an actress from Merseyside.
Aside from her role in Benidorm she has also appeared in various other screen roles.
From 1986-1988 she played the gossipy cleaner Mrs Tardebigge in Crossroads.
After a long break from TV she starred in the 1996 film Intimate Relations.
She has also appeared in an episode of E4 drama Skins and played Joan the cook in the 1996 adaptation of The Famous Five.
