HOUSE of Games viewers were all left complaining after Good Morning Britain star Alex Beresford joined the line-up.

Every week four new famous faces join host Richard Osman to play a host of different games to win the coveted prize.

On Monday, the celebrity contestants taking on the quiz included Matthew Horne, Martel maxwell, Chloe Petts and Alex, 41.

While the TV presenter looked pleased to be taking part in the show - viewers at home were less than delighted to see him taking part.

"Couldn't they have found anyone better than fame hungry Alex Beresford?" one slammed as the programme started.

A second chimed in: "Had to turn off House of Games as hate seeing that moron Alex Beresford on TV yet again.

"No one wants to watch this guy, get him off our screens. He's nobody."

"Can't watch Beresford, so full of his own self-importance - sadly had to turn it over," a third concurred of the GMB star's appearance.

However, others stepped in to defend Alex, and admitted they were rooting for him to be crowned the winner of the day.

It comes days after Alex revealed he's engaged to his secret girlfriend Imogen May three years after he split from wife.

The Good Morning Britain star has kept his love-life under wraps since he and Natalia Natkaniec went their separate ways in 2019.

But Alex, 41, has shared the surprising news that he is engaged to a restaurant e-commerce worker Imogen McKay, 29, and confessed they've been dating since August 2020.

Sharing details of his romantic proposal, Alex told HELLO! magazine: "I took Imogen for a walk along the beach.

"The weather was sunny and warm, and the sea was crystal clear. 'This is it,' I thought. Imogen's not one for taking photos, but as I persuaded her to pose for a picture overlooking the sea, I kneeled down to take the engagement ring I'd hidden inside my rucksack.

"When she turned around, I was on one knee, and asked her the biggest question of my life – and she said yes. It was an amazing moment."
