HORRIFIC images show the mangled wreckage of a £250k Ferrari F8 after a crash that left one man dead.

The driver, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The motorist has not yet been formally identified.

South Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and dash cam footage after the horror smash in Doncaster.

Cops were called to the scene at about 8.50am yesterday after a member of the public reported a collision on the A630 in Armthorpe.

A red Ferrari F8 Tributo left the carriageway and hit a tree before landing on its roof.

The roof was crushed and the boot ripped off, exposing the twin turbo V8 engines, as the vehicle overturned off the road.

There were no other vehicles involved in the collision.
