GEMMA Collins is hoping to be blessed with a "miracle" baby this Christmas, according to reports.

The self-confessed diva, 42, is desperate to have a child with her fiancé Rami Hawash and is really hoping to conceive this festive season.

Gemma, who last week starred in The Real Full Monty, has been open about her fertility struggles in the past but is pinning her hopes on her dream finally coming true next year.

A source has told OK! magazine: “Gemma has been trying to become a mother for so long and it’s the perfect time, she’s so excited for Christmas and is hoping for a miracle and a little one for the new year."

Gemma has made no secret of her desire to have a baby with Rami.

Earlier this year, the couple decided to postpone their wedding, with Gemma saying she had "no real interest".

She admitted she wants to "be like J.Lo" and get married in her 50s.

But Gemma is desperate have a baby with her fiancé as soon as possible - and this was also part of their plan to push back their wedding.

Gemma has polycystic ovaries syndrome, which makes it more difficult to conceive. She also experienced a devastating miscarriage in 2012.

Heartbreakingly, in July Gemma said she was still no further forward in her journey to motherhood and was trying to find a doctor who could help her.

Gemma admitted: “I cannot get pregnant. It is a nightmare.

“If anything, you’d want a baby before you get married. The big day is not a priority, I’d rather spend the money on working out how I can have a baby.

“I cannot seem to get a doctor and I am looking to find a fertility doctor who can help me.”

The good news is Gemma's call for help appears to have been successful, as she has since revealed she has found a clinic.

In an interview with MailOnline at the end of November, Gemma said: "I’m starting my fertility journey within the next couple of weeks.

"I’m going to a clinic so watch these cards and get ready for me, honey.”

Gemma also said she was buoyed to hear Tana Ramsay, wife of telly chef Gordon, had welcomed her sixth child at the age of 49.

Describing it as "the greatest news to wake up to", Gemma added: "It really made me think positively about my future and kind of took the pressure off."
