A HEFTY price tag doesn't always translate into high quality - and one shopper learnt this the hard way.
When it comes to all things fashion, sometimes it's best to invest that little extra, as brands, such as Shein, are notorious for the poor quality.
But does that mean you should be rushing to fork out a fortune to grab designer goods?
Well, as style enthusiast Blair Cooley proved, high-end fashion doesn't necessarily mean good quality, as she took to TikTok to compare a padded Bottega Veneta bag versus a dupe from Amazon.
Showing the condition of the real one, which she claimed to have had only for two months, Blaire said there were already noticeable signs of wear.
''I just think this material isn't great,'' the shopper was honest.

The only ''major'' difference between the bags, she noted, was that the Bottega Veneta one had its metallic clasps hidden, whereas the £35 dupe were visible when the flap was open.
''Otherwise, honestly you guys, I don't see a difference.
Describing the cheap copy, which retails for £1.5k less than its high-end twin, Blair said it felt ''the exact same''.
''I don't think it's worth investing in this one - it just looks worn,'' the Amazon fan commented on the Bottega Veneta bag.

''So if you're thinking of getting the Amazon one, I would recommend it [...] - I like how this one looks more puffy too.''
Fellow fashionistas flocked to comments to praise the dupe, with one writing: ''Why does the Amazon one look way better and more expensive.''

Someone else wondered why Blair had made the pricey purchase in the first place: ''1800?? For polyester?''
Another agreed, saying: ''Never spend over 1500 for non-leather. That’s my rule.''
