A Vietnamese model has revealed an unsettling experience after her dress sparked controversy online.
The beauty queen came under fire after modeling a "see-through" dress at a pageant in Vietnam.
The model came on stage wearing a sheer yellow dress that left little to the imagination, reports The Daily Star.
Phuong Anh, 24, was on stage presenting the first runner-up title for Miss Vietnam.
Phuong shared that she felt "ashamed" by the controversial look, and said she "learned her lesson" after the show.
Organizers of the Miss Vietnam 2022 shared an apology to upset fans after the incident.
Phuong, who was runner-up in the 2020 competition, appeared to be naked when the spotlight hit her dress.
"It's very unfortunate that an incident happened to the outfit of runner-up Pham Ngoc Phuong Anh," a statement from the event organizers said.
It continued: "The dress when seen from certain angles, created an unflattering image on stage.
"And the organizers of the 2022 Miss Vietnam apologize to the audience and fans for not having anticipated and being unable to prevent the incident beforehand," the statement concluded.

The deputy head of the organizing committee for the event Pham Kim Dung revealed that not all of the stage lights were on during rehearsals.
